"St. George and Robbins amble amusingly through their parts like a veteran vaudeville duo. They and other cast members — including Mark Linehan as best man George, and Yasmeen Duncan as Trix the Aviatrix — seem to be enjoying themselves greatly. Understandable. It’s not clear who is having a better time at “The Drowsy Chaperone,” the audience or the cast. Let’s call it a draw."

." - Don Aucoin, The Boston Globe

"Kathy St. George and Ilyse Robbins slay as vaudevillian gangsters, deterred from their mission of destruction by the chance to appear on stage!" - Lynne Weiss, Stage and Cinema

"Feldzieg is threatened by two gangsters disguised as pastry chefs, played equally and fabulously comical by the team of Ilyse Robbins and Kathy St. George." - Kevin T. Baldwin, Metrmag

"The adroit casting by director/choreographer Larry Sousa brings together Ilyse Robbins and Kathy St. George as a couple of “pastry chefs” who are actually underworld types; cue the scene-stealing by the duo." - Rich Fahey, On Boston Stages
